Good book, but the printing is a little off. The title page is on the left hand side, meaning the entire book is shifted. All the page numbers wall along the interior side of the pages. Not a big deal, just slight imperfection.

Bought this to aid in my family tree search. Began reading it at the beginning and found it enjoyable for early famous Virginians.
Very informative and helpful in tracing family roots.
I own the book. Of high interest to Mercer County residents. One of 6 books I have telling about the burning of Princeton and fall back to Rocky Gap Va and Dublin Va. Written in 1906. Author was a child during the Civil war. He became a lawyer and county judge. For serious students only
